Re-presents 2015 budget

Ebonyi State Governor, Engr Dave Umahi on
Monday sacked the 13 Caretaker Committee
Chairmen and 64 Development Centre
Coordinators appointed by the former Governor,
Chief Martin Elechi.
He made this known during his re-presentation
of the 2015 Appropriation Bill to the state House
of Assembly.
Tagged Budget of Repositioning, the governor
proposed an estimate of N75.8 billion, which
was 11 percent lower than the N80.017 billion
earlier presented by the former governor.
The initial budget had failed to succeed in the
state House of Assembly.
Before the sack, the governor had called on the
Chairmen to make available the public funds
they allegedly stole to be free from their on-
going probe by members of the state House of
Assembly.
